Clutch Release bearing is a very important part for a truck & bus. When the release bearing is damaged, it is very difficult to change it; moreover it will take a lot of time. So we should know the cause of failure of clutch release bearing so that we can use and maintain it properly

The Reason of damage

1.    High temperature at work cause overheating

2.    Lacking of lubrication oil cause abrasion

3.    Free travel distance is too short

4.    The release lever is smooth or not and condition of the return spring will also affect the clutch release bearing

How to use it properly

1.    Avoid half joint and half separation state and reduce the time of using of clutch.

2.    Give it a full lubricant during repair and maintain

3.    Adjust the release lever smooth and make sure the return spring are in good condition

4.    Free travel distance should be 30-40mm

5.    Minimize the times of joint and separation
